The lamppost and the base are connected as a whole using the continuity of the lines. The wood grains look clearer with the reflection of the light. The body is compact while modern. The log, even before used as one kind of material, is alive. I wish that it could extend to the product. I would feel and evaluate the products after proofing and then decide whether to put them into batch production. I use beech from Germany and black walnut from America for this time. I believe that the customers will feel what I want to convey.

The dimmer switch is integrated into the overall shape, making it an inverted bowl. It is very convenient to place the dimmer on the top of the desk lamp, and the overall wood material will naturally guide people to touch it. The integration of the dimmer into the entire desk lamp makes the knob switch easy to use and not abrupt. The shape of the inverted bowl is very suitable as a lampshade. The surface of the bowl will naturally show beautiful wood grain. The continuous log grain will prompt people to touch it unconsciously. This also naturally guides people to operate it. We made many lamps but have not launched a new one since ‘Beacon’ and ‘Mushroom’. The former lamps are compact enough but the new series further adopts the concept of ‘minus’. The area of illumination is once again reduced. You will like more the experience of changing between cold and warm lights with a simple touch. The assembly is as well simplified. The height of the lamp is just right for you to read on a chair or in a couch. The light is gentle thus will not hurt your eyes.
